bought mine (04 GT 32K mi) in august of this year for $8K...basically stock other than lowered, catback, CAI, Diablosport.
take the tuner with it...then just sell it after if you dont want it. comes in handy until you get an SCT to pull codes if you have to.
I leave my Xcal2 in my car if something happens to check to code right away. I have the Diablo too at my house.

^ maybe he meant if you have $11K he could put it toward a 2011....but i agree it does not make much sense if he doesnt have a job to keep the money rolling in...
now that i think of it, the rebuilt tranny and a sport seat leads me to belive maybe he road coursed the car and beat the snot out of the tranny? plus he is offering to put new pads and rotos on....signes of driving it hard?
but either way, you have a clean car with no rust, basically stock with better clutch/rebuilt tranny, new brakes and only 22K mi. even if it was driven hard it still has low miles. if it had 100K mi i would deff pass on it.

yea i dont want another 100,000 miles car, thats what mine has. the sport seat i think was just for fun, idk, i dont want it so im having the stock put in like i said. overall the car dosent seem beat on, it rides nice and idk about the new brakes either but he just has them sitting around his shop, he is the head mechanic at a shell station and he dosent have a need for them so he is just gonna throw them on. he seem like once of those guys thats **** about things, never rides it in snow or rain and has a car cover for when it has to be parked outside.

well half of the car buying experience is the car itself...the other half is who you are buying it from. if he seems like a stand up guy and if you have a good judge of character, then it could very well be a good buy.
i bought mine for the low miles and it was from a 40+ year old guy who had it as a toy for him and his wife and got bored of it and never drove it in the winter along with it originally being a FL car.
minus the seat...if nothing looks hacked/altered in the engine and he seems legit, then i would deff look into it. but still try to get him down on the price lol

yea, im going to get him to either throw on 4 new tires or take at least 600 off the price cuz itll need tired in the next 6 months. im going to have my dad drive down from MD to look at it and get his opinion on it cuz he's a busines guy and he is good as **** at talking people down.

New Edge Cobra's sell for around that with similar miles.
My 2001 Cobra, and I hate to say I still payed too much, cost 13k with 60k miles with one owner in good< condition.
Talked 'em down 3.5k! and walked out 3 times. Stealerships, they make me facepalm.
Be firm.
