Default Switch oil when I move to Texas?

Hey guys,

So I live in New York right now but am moving to Texas in a few months. It is going to be wayy hotter there then it is in NY! ..obviously ha. I was thinking about contacting Ford about this but I thought why not post it up here and see what I get back..

What would be the best oil to use now that my car is going to be running in extreme heat?

Also, should I change anything with my cooling system?

Thanks guys

I run 5w-20. If you think about it, as hot as it gets inside your engine, the 100 degree temp. outside wont matter.

Save yourself some money and get Mobil 1. If it is good enough for the FAA it is good enough for a passenger car. My Bro is a distributor for Redline and I can get a very good deal on it but I run Mobil 1.

Also don't forget to get special tires or they will melt lol, I use 5-20W never had a problem.

By the way budders Mars is colder than earth (farther away from the sun)
