Most of us with TB/Plenum combo's installed have experienced a whistling noise under throttle. A member here SONICX had posted a fix to me in another thread which I happen to try and it worked and thought I would share for future questions.

Simply scuff up/sand the plenum to intake surface, as well as the TB to plenum surfaces. I went a step further and lightly scuffed the gasket bw the TB and plenum since it was shiny and smooth.

Installed it after, went for a drive and bye-bye whistle. Apparently since the surfaces are so smooth, it allows for air to be sucked in.

I never thought to do this as I believed it was the internal geometry/altered turbulent flow in the bigger TB/plenum that caused it.

So an official thank you to SONICX for this and hope it works for other people.
