i have a friend who has a 4.6 2v n a 97 saleen. Hes wanting to know what would it take to switch to a 4v heads and intake? I searched on the net and couldnt find what he wanted so im askn you guys. any help would b nice. thanks james

easier just to swap in a complete 4v engine.

i believe that taking off 2v heads and putting on 4v heads will lower the compression ratio significantly. piston to valve clearance i dont know though...i doubt there will be problems with that. im not even sure if you would need the 4v exhaust timing chains (the 2v chains may work, but dunno for sure). if you were doing a 4v swap it would be easiest if you got the heads fully assembled. you know lincoln MKVIII engines are cheap. like 500-1000 dollars cheap.
