My intake manifold is cracked and i need a new one.

I can't get a manifold for the DOHC 4.6l, but I can for the SOHC. I am searching online and can't find a fit for my mustang.

I am thinking I might have a SOHC and not a DOHC. anyone help me?

If it's a GT, you have a SOHC.

I have the gt. On the head covers it looks like it has DOHC. is the SVT model the DOHC? and the gt is just SOHC?

Yes the SVT Cobra get the DOHC and the GT gets the SOHC. Unless someone has swapped a DOHC into your car.
If you still have ? post a pic of your engine bay and we will tell you what you have

ok. I will after we put it back together. it's all apart so i can replace intake manifold.

pic now would be more helpful. we dont need it assembled to see if its DOHC or SOHC. also by seeing the coolant and air ports we could determine if they are PI or NPI heads.

and you dont have to start multiple threads to get answers, that **** is annoying.

if its dissassembled you have the valve covers off? If you have one cam in EACH head its SOHC if you have 2 in EACH head (side by side) 4 total its a DOHC.
