Question squeaky/clunky rear

when i go over speed bumps or any bumps for that matter the rear end (right side) clunks/ makes ugly embarassing noise. i replaced rear shocks and still does it... ugh i dont like it.. if i push up and down on my trunk it does it as well... i wish i could give you guys a sound clip but can not.... any suggestions... i dont know my budddys have listend but dont know.. they siad possible bushings or something.. its been going on for a while.... maybe those shocks that run diagonal, stabalizer shocks i believe

This might sound like a stupid response, but have you checked to make sure the spare tire is bolted down with everything in the trunk?

My car squeaked over bumps and it turned out the be the e-brake cable rubbing the the loop that holds it place behind the rear tire. I just sprayed some WD-40 on it and it went away.
