fiberglass is the best (most expensive too) It's worth it though.

Did you mean polyurethane? Go with the poly it won't crack and break like the fiberglass would. It's a little more expensive but the polyurethane is worth it. You will could also run into more fitment issues with the fiberglass.

why would fiberglass be the way not to go? What are the advantages and disadvantages or both?

Ive never seen it crack. Isnt Fiberglass is so much easier to fix and touch up if you get into a fenderbender?

A corvette body is completly fiberglass. http://www.x-designz.org/corvette/DSC01044.jpg
$50.00 to fix and paint.

btw, how much would it cost to paint a front bumper, back bumper, and 2 rocker panels?

Polyurithane will give when fiberglass won't.. fiberglass will chip, crack, and fray.

yep. and when fiberglass starts to chip and crack, it continues to over time. spider cracks are infamous problems with aging fiberglass parts. poly urethane is flexible beyond belief and will save you many trips to the repair shop
