Ok im looking at a 2004 5 speed GT 40th Anniversary
Ok first off, whats the diff between regular and 40th Anniversary Edition?
Ive been looking everywhere for a Mustang GT and im really lookin for a 2002-03ish, for around 15k-17ish... Anyway, Im trading in an 01 grand am GT, so I headed over to GM/pontiac/buick to see if they might have some preowned stangs...Anyway they had 1, it was a silver 04 Anniversary for 20,900. Anyway, I get a better trade in value because I have loyalty with them...So my question is, should I be able to get them down a few K? It has Every option and it has 8,000 miles on it...Is it worth it? I mean, I can spend a little more, because this should last me if I take care of it...
Any help, tips would be appreciated. Ive been lookin at Stangs all around my area for weeks now...

The anniversary edition has special badging and interior pieces are painted, along with other small things. 20,900 isn't a bad price but see if you can get them down a tad more. The price is so high cause its a dealer. Make sure you get a warranty though if your paying that much. Then again I got my car for 15,000 and it's a GT convert with 10,000 miles on it. So the price should be really lower now that I think about it. Try to get them down to about 19,xxx The kbb on it is about what it is though.

I bought mine a few months ago... about 5 or 6... it had 5k on it. I paid 20,900... and guess what... It is a silver 40th anniversary 5 speed.

If it has the special interior badges, shifter bezel, etc, good luck on getting the price down. However, all 2004s have the 40th fender badge, so 19,000 should be possible.
It still has the factory 3 yr/36k warranty on it, so if skipping the dealer warranty gets the price down, I'd do it. You can still buy the Ford ESP later.
Good luck and happy driving.

For 2005, discounts; for 2006, cheaper stickers
What keeps a cars overall resale value up is how it compares to the new ones. Granted the new Mustangs aren't part of this whole craze...not yet anyways.

Why did you need an oil change on a new car?
