Default Bone-stock dyno #'s, 87, 89, 92 octane tunes on SCT.

When I got my gears (4.10's), I got an SCT XCal II tuner to do the gears, and the shop that installed them gave me some free dyno tunes (Fast Specialties in Vancouver, WA).

Here the results, done on a Mustang dyno:

stock tune (consider this 87 octane) - 222.8 rwhp, 261.2 rwtq
89 octane - 230.2 rwhp, 268.8 rwtq
92 octane - 236.5 rwhp, 266.1 rwtq ( I know peak tq went down wtf!, edit: this tune was done at 92degF ambient, while other 2 runs were at 80 degF ambient which may explain the peak tq drop)

Anyway, overall I gained 14 "free" horsepower with the tune (I know the SCT cost $350 but whatever...)

Also I plan on going to the track this Friday, so track numbers will be in soon! I'm really hoping to break 13's.

do you guys get 93 octane from a pump at a normal gas station? I don't think I've ever seen 93, just 91.

Like the title of the thread says.. it is stock Mustang.. unless you consider using higher octane gas to be a mod. Not even a K&N filter.

I have Toyo 245 tires (300 treadwear) they grip awesome even with the 4.10's.

Good info, thanks.

My TQ numbers dropped a little on my last dyno session when the ambient temp was 97, and the IAT was a disgusting 102.
