RPM's won't go down!
#24
Well, I bought a new one and got it today. I put it on, along with the new gasket. It is still doing it.
RPMs are sticking at any amount 2K+, even when I downshift, or go into neutral. I have to press the break for them to go down, and even then they barley go down. In order to stop this from happening, I have to turn my car off, and start it back up. However, it will do it again in about 5 minutes time. Any other ideas...?

Well again, it wouldn't be the IAC, as cleaning it didn't help, and Normally, the IAC will cause it to stall-as in drop the rpms-not raise them up. The only other thing I could think of would be the Throttle Position Sensor...
I see you did try the IAC, and it didnt work..Are you resetting the KAM by disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes after the install?

Well, honestly, I think that it could be the TPS. BUT, you should PM CliffyK and ask him before you decide. He may be a bit more knowledgeable than I.
