Hi its been my first time on the track with my new s/c mustang 2002(9psi vortech). Did 12.4@115mph on street tires(with a 2.07 out of he box). How much hp can i have with the mph. 400-450 maybe? thank you for your help
That sounds a little high to me...my car w a stock motor and a 100 shot trapped 115...couldnt have been making anymore then 350
Yeah, but you have to remember that nitrous makes mad torque, and you'll have a ton of horsepower through out the entire curve too. My best trap before cams was 115 as well, and i had 370 rwhp at the time.
I've taken down blower cars with 50 or more hp than me.

Yea, but that could also be because alot of people with mustangs just can't drive, or some just do stupid things like go to the strip with 400hp+ on street tires (no offense OP). I agree with the other estimates, 370-390hp. If for no other reason, figure this way: 1st it's only 9lbs, 2nd most tuners are going to shoot for that number on a stock engine unless you tell them to push it.
im guessing about 380whp depending on your other mods. over 400whp on a stock block is asking for trouble anyways. unless you do not care and got the $$ for a new engine.
