V-6 to V-8 Conversion

I need some help on figuring out the fuel system on my recent motor swap (V-6 to V-8)

I have the stock fuel pump in the tank from the V-6, and a Holley regulator (carb application)

The problem is; The fuel pressure rockets to 30psi even if it is at it lowest setting....

The car has 2 lines running from the tank, one is the pick-up, and I'm not sure what the other is.... maybe return??

Any help would be a great asset!!! I want to drive it bad!!V-6 to V-8 Conversion

hey man, i've got a return line in my tank so i'm pretty sure that's probably why your fuel pressure shoots up so high. check it out.

yeah thats whats gonna happen , that fuel pump is for an efi car , switch to a pump for a carb car or hook up the return line to a return style regulator, there better than the dead head regulator anyway.
