Default Heads and Cams without forged internals?

Wondering if it would be a waste to only bolt on some ported 3 angle job pi heads with some nasty cams/boosted without doing forged internals. Plan was to get forged internals but I am not too sure if I can afford it. I want to finish my suspension and do the drivetrain as well with a tko 600. Not sure if I can afford all of this and was wondering if It would be dumb to bolt on heads with stock internals. Thanks for the help guys

Depends on how much boost you want to run, heads and cams are always good for more power but on a FI set up like yours it just means you have to run less boost and have a more conservatuve tune. Talk to MDvaldosta about what he has done, I am sure he can point you in the right direction.

if your gonna swao heads go with the ford racing heads not the PI heads. your compression will be too high to run a blower on the PI heads

Thanks for the help guys, but even with the dished pistons it won't bring the compression down enough for a boost friendly application with the PI heads? I am just gonna keep the boost low for now then turn it up when I get the suspension and drivetrain done? Thanks!
