RE: heres my upsetting times... whats wrong?
my 3rd run i hit the overdrive button and turned it off and i ran 2 mph faster but my 1/4 mile time was still sucky. the only thing i don't get is this what i was running bone stock and i had crappy 60' times then as well. maybe after the n2o i will invest in drag springs and upper and lower ca's.

You definitely need to work on your 60' times. Notice how much better your 2nd run was, and the only difference in the 60' was .03 second, but look what difference it made in the end. Your times are very inconsistent. What did you different on the 2nd run compared to the other two?
Also...even the 2nd run 60' wasn't that good, you can get it down better then that. I was able to pull a 2.1 60' with crappy hard stock width Kumhos.
The Nittos don't need that much heat. Just spin them dry and stop. Don't bother with any jumps before you stage up either. That doesn't accomplish anything.

Hey, looking at your Reaction times, it almost looks like you may have been sleeping at the light..
Was it Pro-tree?? .400 is perfect... When you stage, you should be launching when the last yellow is lit up.. This will knock your R/T down to at least .6xx
What kind of tire pressures are some of you guys running on Nitto's??
JT
95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD - 12.7 @ 103mph (R.I.P.)
00 Mustang GT - Back in Action, still too slow.....

You need to eat up the DR's. Stock Goodyear's get better 60's than that.
Also, take off the o/d everytime, you need to never go into 4th at wot. I trap 98-99 in my auto with the same mods and I run 13.9-14.0 with about the same mods as you, but Nitto street tires. My 60's are 2.1-2.2. Get some subframe connectors, lower control arms, and set your psi at 16.
Always make sure trac. cont and o/d is off.

60ft 60ft 60ft.....
With DRs you should be cutting 2.0s super easy and possibly seeing a high 1.9.
Stock goodyears the best 60 I got was 2.0 even, and cut consistant 2.1s. Usually lost time on the 1-2(spin) and have spun the 2-3 a couple of times.
Get your 60ft down and it will be a big improvement in your times.
Don't worry about the reaction time it doesn't affect you ET. You should only be worried about that with brkt racing or if you are racing someone. If you want to get more consistant at your launches leave the line when you are ready. Once you get the launches done work on the reaction time.
Try leaving off idle and shallow stage to help get you out of the box.
But the key now is to get your 60s down. Suspension work will help, but when you are cutting bad ones now you are only bandaiding the problem and not getting any better.
