Like everyone is mentioning, I hope you did TDC before you pulled those chains off. Also marked them and put them back on right.

Is the check engine light on? I don't remember if you mentioned it or not. But when it is running, does is run ok and then sputter a bit on you?

Since you put headers on it reminds me of a problem I ran into. The EGR. A simple thing you can try is just block it off. The EGR mushroom hooks to your plenum. Loosen the 2 bolts on it enough to slide in a piece of a soda can and tighten it back down. If it starts running fine, you know what your problem is. If it doesn't help, just pull it back out again.

As for the soda can, just cut out a square. Enough to cover the hole but small enough to go between the 2 fastener bolts. Hell I have it done on my car right now because it got clogged with gasket material. I'll deal with that tomorrow I think.

Didn't do the TDC, used another method posted on this forum somewhere - with mark at 6 O'clock.
I did take timing chain cover off again to make sure chains didn't skip a tooth - but my marks got erased (Chain had no marked links) so along with that I replaced the chains and tensioners to be on the safe side.
Pulled everything back together - the problem seems to persist.
I will try the EGR trick tomorrow and take it to a shop - the thing I was trying to avoid - thought I could do everything myself
Everything works fine except the lack of power. I went on the grass today (accidentally) and noticed that my left tire left the marks while right one didnt - maybe I messed something up while messing around with Driveshaft? I had to move it in order to take off the transmission.
I dont know...

I had both heads shaved and pressure tested when removed them initially. Also got my valves polished and replaced 3 due to faulty timing attempt . But checked the compression and it's fine in all cylinders. Checked the coils and injectors (by disconnecting power) all seem to work...
