Well i havent checked the injectors, why do you think its the injectors? I got a bunch of the stuff off today tomorrow ill take off the valve covers again and see what else i can get done.. If i cant figure it out after this im gonna take it to another mechanic and see what he thinks it is then start all over.

What exactly do I need to take off to take of timing chain cover, so far I fave the radiator fluid resevoir the fan the water pump pulley and powers steering resevoir off. The only guides I can find are for cam swaps so I'm not sure which steps I need to follow and which ones not 2...

valve covers need to come off. four oil pan bolts in the front need to go but dont pull the oil pan. power steering resevoir. coil packs (if you have them). all the bolts holding the timing cover on. i think thats it. if you just start taking stuff off, its pretty self explanatory. now replacing your tensioners are a bit harder than just pulling the cover though. you should have a chiltons/haynes (they are the same) repair manual because it will show you how to replace the chain tensioners. and while your in there check your timing chains and guide plates for wear also.

Pretty sure that the power steering pump has to come off. Harmonic balancer, the valve covers need to be removed, and something like 12 bolts on the cover.

take off timing cover(pull power steering reservior, crank shaft pulley, idler pulley with tensioner, get new timing cover gaskets, and get yourself a haynes manual!!!!

Ok so now I have a timing chain slack question. The chain on the drivers side bottom side has some slack in it, is it supposed to and how much should it have? The passengers side has a little bit of slack but the drivers has more...

before we go anymore in depth into this chain slack question....are the cams timed correctly? if they are then the slack should tighten up upon engine start up, when the tensioners get oil pressure
