Default Attempting hydraulic lash adjusters removal and installation.

Well the noise coming from my engine is apparently valve chatter, so I'm going to attempt the fix myself has anyone done this before or have any tips? Any help will be appreciated....

It's easy. Just pop the valve cover, set the cam lobe where the pointed end is up, then hook a screwdriver on the rocker arm on the lash adjuster end and pop it off. Put the new one in and reverse the procedure.

Well everything turned out ok besides the fact that after replacing the hyraulic lash adjusters, the ticking sound is still there... Did i need to do anything to them after installing?

No, they will pump up on their own. Have you checked the timing chain tensioners?

No havent yet, i was looking to see what all needs to come off so i can get it done tomorrow. The noise just seems like its coming from the drivers side to me... But i need to rule out everything i can.

There are two tensioners, so it could be coming from the drivers side. It's not all that hard. Just do yourself a favor and take the radiator fan out before you do it.
