Im sure this had been posted a million or more times... i am looking for two rear tires for my stang ... i currently have stock 99 gt wheels which i believe can fit 275/45/17... not totally sure.. the type of tire i am looking for is a road tire with good handling and traction for dry weather.. my friend suggested a nitto 555r 275 d radial.. im up for suggestions

Congrats on that mod list! 327 at the wheels? Thats amazing!
If ur wheels are 17x9's then 275 will fit perfect. If they are 17x8 then i dont know. Find out what size they are.

Put the Nito 555's on, heard alot of good things about them. My friend just got some about a month ago and thats what he recammends to everyone, he love's them. They hook pretty good! For a 8.5 rim, 275 will fit, but that would be the max, got a buddy who has a 00 stand and has been running 275's on his stock rims ever since he has had the car.

I got 2 Goodyear Eagles Used, but probably 65-75% tread life left 245/45 zr17 The stock tires from my 02 GT for sale. Will sell them to you for $100 plus shipping.

Email me if interested. I needed to replace the fronts, and wanted something with better wet traction so I replaced all 4 tires.

thanks for the offer but im kind of looking for something a little wider for the rear..... nitto 555r a good choice for wet ? im looking for an all around tire for the rear... but more for road racing.
