Bought a 2000 GT last week and am wondering what the miniature light is that is just to the left of the cup holder?

Something after market, there is no factory installed "light" in that position...

it was probably an arming light for someones nitrous or something like that. you're gonna have to trace the wires around and see where they connect to/where they were connected to have any idea.

Default mystery light

Ok, if there isn't suppose to be a light there and I can find nothing to say that there is, then I guess it is something someone installed. There is also a speaker mounted under the hood to the left of the brake fluid resevior and the wires to it are cut. So I am guessing that it was an aftermarket alarm system. Still checking the car out to see what it needs before I start driving it arouind. I also have the TCS switch that does not light up and a foglight switch that does light up and the foglights do not. If these are the only things wrong with the car then I will be happy.
