Hey all, I have an X3 tuner that I just recieved from Americanmuscle today and im trying to load the custom tunes from into my 01 GT Mustang, but when I do im getting the following on the display...error code 1019 unlock ECM Failed, then error 1017 upload stock failed, Then error 1009 no tune changes written.

I called AmericanMuscle directly and spoke with Daniel Menna who said possibly the tunes needed to be re-uploaded into the tuner so he emailed the tunes to me to upload again. I just did yet same thing is happening and he said I should contact SCT if it is still happening (I just emailed SCT's their tech support because it is still happening)

Does anyone here know what the error code 1019 is, because that code is not even listed on SCT's troubleshooting section on their friggin website.

Are you sure its pluged in correctly?

are you following the right steps? that happened to me when i had the car in the wrong start position.

you are suppose to have the car initially off then plug the tuner in. then the tuner prompts you to turn the car to the on position but not start it up when you go to load the tune.

did you provide AM with the correct PCM code???

Yeah thanks guys I got it to work finally, it was an ID-10-T error, haha. As Jrad mentioned, I also had the key in the wrong start position. Thanks for the help.
