I have a Vortech with 11lbs of boost and 4.10 gears, on the street it's fun, but I am forced to run a 28" tall tire at the strip, I tried a 26" tall tire and crossed the traps at 6,300 and dropped both ET and MPH. In hindsight I wish I had gone with 3.73s

You will 60' better with the 28's, bigger footprint and revolutions. You have picked the perfect combo for a higher horsepower car.

You should 60' much better with the 28's. Bigger footprint and less revolutions

right on. I think I'll go with the 4.10's now since I already have them and have a good time. And by the time I have over 450rwhp I can always change them out.

thats a good choice specially if your boosting i love my 4.10s specially for the centri superchargers since they make to most boost on top you wont drop rpms as much and you will stay on a good boost... im also runing 26s rite now and i didnt run out of gear yet...lol
