Cool, I really hope they total it, i dont have $1,000 and it would be nice to get out of this car (i owe $18,000) and with the car payment and insurance its $700 a month!! Its really starting to hurt my wallet, but i would miss the car a lot if they did.

When one of my friends totalled his little Toyota truck the insurance came by his house and picked up his truck and the guy who picked it up was like " Are you going to leave everything in the truck?" He told them that they could take everything they put into the truck out, including the new engine they put in.The guy said he's seen tons of people rip everything out of thier cars and trucks and the insurance didnt care. So check into that and maybe you can sell off some parts or keep them for another stang, if the car is totalled of course.

His car was 26,000. Thats not too much. 26,000 / 60 mon. = 433 without interest, taxes, insurance, etc. And you say you pay $700 a month already. It won't be too much more. Or 26,000 / 48 mon. = 541 with the same deal as above. I'm sure you could pull it off.

I don't thinK i understand how there is any chance whatsoever of your insurance covering anything...?

You lost control of the vehicle, either it should have been in a garage somewhere or you need more practice driving in the rain where there is no chance of hurting yourself.
Good evening sir, your flame is ready...

Um, not everyone was born knowing everything about driving in the rain. Sometimes you can do everything right and things still go wrong. Thus the word 'accident.'

Very inconsiderate of you.
True....

Plus I don't know if you know this. But mustangs aren't the eaiest cars to drive in the rain. The guy had an ACCIDENT and you flame him. Nice job [sm=icon_beat.gif]

You said your frame was bent? If it is bad enough that you noticed it yourself, not to mention the other damage, I dount they will do anything other than total the car. Fixing a bent frame is usually very expensive, and a good sign that the car, unless it still has a very high bluebook value will be totalled. Good luck man! Get yourself an '05 GT
