I have a mustang gt coupe 98 all white with black 17's, i was fine with my my car. That is until i got smoked by a cobra from the same yr...i would just like to know some performance mods i could use for not too expensive ex: supercharger or turbo. Also what engine swap could i make in the future.

Nitrous and PI swap if you want the absolute cheapest bang for your buck IMO.

+1 pi swap with nitrous cams/4.10s/lt headers/full exhaust/and 100 shot or bigger and itll move.

idk i read you could find all the necessary parts for the PI swap on craigslist or used for pretty cheap id say my budget is around 1k

If I were you I would just save a little more and buy a used Supercharger. With a grand you can buy a nice used head unit.. If not and you want the satisifaction of beating your buddy right now, a good nitrous kit should do it..
