Default Check engine light after fuel filter change

So I JUST changed out the fuel filter in my 02 gt and now the check engine light is on. What could I have possibly screwed up by changing the damn filter. I put it on in the right direction and as far as I can tell their are no leaks or anything. I didnt know if having the *** end jacked up in the air for 2 hours would do it (went to eat) or what. PLEASE HELP!!!

Don't know what might be causing it, but you can unhook your battery (negative cable) for like 10 minutes and that should reset the light. If it comes back then you'll have to have the code scanned to see what's up.

might be air in the fuel lines. did you cycle the ign. to get the fuel pump going before you started it up?

All I did was wait for it to prime then started it up(not sure if thats what your talking about). I just hooked the battery back up and started it and the light is off. But im going to take it for a quick drive in a sec to make sure it stays off. Thanks for the help guys!
