Default Upper/lower control arms

Anyone that has installed these, what are you thought on them. Did they make a big difference in traction? How do you like them? I am going to be getting some soon and just want to know what to expect when they are installed. Thanks for any info on this

I think they are required for anybody who plans on some traction w/a modified Stang. The did make a big difference in that rear because I have no hop now. They are stronger than the factory parts, & therefore will keep you planted better. What brand are you getting? Not all of them are created equal. The best way to go is Maximum Motorsports.

I personally can't wait to install mine. I just put on my SFC's, and I got some rear LCA's and UCA's for cheap.

I got Roush LCA's, FRPP UCA's, and a rear seat delete kit for $120. And the UCA's were uninstalled.

Dont pay anyone to put them on. They are easy to install and will take any mechanically inclined person 2.5 to 3 thour to install (upper and lower) with the assistance of a friend. Two hydraulic jacks are extremely helpful as is jack stands. Air tools are recommended but not necessary. Make sure the hardware you get with them are GRADE 8! If not, then use the stock blots and nuts.

Some people wil tell you that doing the upper control arms will make it ride stiffer, but I felt no such difference in any of the cars I have put upper and lower control arms on. Mine actuallr rode better after I installed them.
