Default Trickflow or stock heads

Are trickflow heads that much better than stock heads? What is the approx horse power difference. Trick flow would cost me about 1300 more. Is it worth it? Thanks

The higher the RPM the higher the difference.

depends on your power goals and your mods. TFS heads are by far the best heads on the market for our cars, BUT if you don't need to spend the money ont hem to make your HP goals, they arent worth the price. so whats your goal?

This is true, if your goal is only 400rwhp or below I see no need to the tfs heads... but as previously stated they by far out flow anything else available, but do you need the flow? whats your hp goal...

I want to see if i can get to 650 hp. I currenly have a procharger p1sc but plan to upgrade to a D series with an 8 rib setup. I also have a nitrous set up with a small 100 hp shot. I want it to stay streetable but be able to take it to the track and do pretty well.

they would be money well spent for hte power your wanting to make. if your only wanting 550rwhp without the nitrous you could get away with some stage 2, maybe 3 heads and some good blower cams. with TFS heads and some really nice blower cams, you would have a monster.

To do that power level with a blower you need to also drop money on a real intake manifold like an Edelbrock, Logan, or TFS. The stock plastic intake is a bigger cork than the PI heads once you get past a certain level. You are looking at 20lbs of boost or so I would imagine so the blower setup needs to be tip top.
