1996 3.8 to 4.6
I got a 1996 3.8. I just bought a wrecked 1996 gt for 700 bucks... the whole car. 90k miles. gonna be a donor car? Am i all set to perform this swap? Does all 1996 GT's have an 8.8 RE? Is there any parts on Gt's that are known for givin problems that i should take care of before i put the motor in? Any helpful advice or websites for replacing wiring? I"m pulling all the wiring out of the engine bay for a new paint job inside. any websites guide someone through re wiring?
Also, i'm planning on adding a Supercharger next year and i want to make sure i am going to be getting enough fuel when it's added. Should i go ahead and replace the fuel lines and pump w/a bigger setup? Bigger injectors while it's out? any recommendations?

all gt's have 8.8 rear end. that will have to be swapped to your 3.8 FYI.
you may want to do a PI swap while the motor is out of the car and easier to work on (heads, cams, and intake manifold from a 99+ gt), used parts will cost a few hundred bucks and will add a hair over 40hp. this does increase compression slightly, so keep that in mind when you do boost.
fuel lines will not be needed, fuel pump and injectors yes. however, those really do not need to be installed before the blower because you will have to retune for bigger injectors. injectors are stupid easy to replace you dont have to worry about those while the motor is out.
how badly was the GT wrecked? if it wasnt wrecked too badly you may be able to just swap body parts over to the GT and call it a day. also, do you know if the GT is running? not just starting but rear end and tranny are still in good shape? or has this cars driveline not even been tested yet?

driveline hasn't been tested yet but i was told it works.. so.. who really knows. i did hear the motor start and it sounded pretty good. i was considering the pi swap and have been looking on ebay or craigslist and looks like 2-300 bucks for used one's. but i think it will be worth the money.
car was wrecked badly and i didnt not get a title with the car unforunately. it broke the frame and they had tried to piece it back together and it looks terrible. windshield busted out, no fenders or bumper or radiator/ fans. interior had old nasty fox body seats. my 3.8 is in much better condition.
also going to replace fly wheel and clutch/throwout bearing while that trans is out too.
