my vortech's bypass valve is just as loud as some cars with stock turbos on them. makes a nice little PSSSSHHHHHT noise. i love it.

you can't hear it whistle all the way up while inside the car, but i'm told it's quite whistly from the outside of the car. i can hear it inside the car up to about 2500rpm, then all i hear is my exhaust.

even magnaflows would probably drown out the whistle when i get up there. hell stock might even. it's the v2 sq, so it's the quiet one.

My procharger at 10 lbs sounds liek i have crickets in my engine at idle. when I acelerate I get a slight whine, followed by the phsss of my Blitz type S BOV. Then when i reach boost, it howls like a SOB, and then I smile because I won the race.

I liek the Greddy Type S on the Supra, but then again I think that thing is running 20+ lbs of boost, so that obviously makes the BOV squeal like a pig.

I like the whine of a SC better. I'd disagree with the tc having more power than a sc. Yes the sc takes some power away because of the pulleys and the turbo uses "wasted" materials so to speak. sc cheaper, turbos more. yeah it's gonna be more if you want twin turbo[:-] i've lost my mind

I swear, the best sound of any power adder is a twin screw blower. When those things are spinnin' fast, they sound down right wicked, inside the car and out.
