That's a good plan. I am thinking about a third vehicle myself. I have been looking for a low mileage Honda Civic EX. I don't drive my GT real often as I don't like all the wear and tear on the engine. But when I do drive it, I really enjoy!! Good Luck.... Be careful and don't get yourself hurt.

my 2001 GT convertible gets me like 19.98 miles to the gallon now driving pretty moderately. Driving smart (speed limit, not gunning it) I'm getting about 21 mpg right now... however here in the great state of New York the gas prices just went from 2.53 monday when i filled up to 3.49 wednesday. If prices don't go down drastically in the next week, im afraid i'll have to sell my baby. I'm 19 so insurance is nuts, i have payments and now i'm gonna have to take a loan for gas! lol, at 2.50-2.60 i could afford it but now i'm gonna have to barely drive and its not worth paying all that money to have a beautiful car like a Laser red Mustang GT convertible with a Black top sit in a garage... Whats a good inexpensive used car thats good on milage. I was looking at the 2001 Honda Civic HX, rated at 36/44 mpg, my friends dad goes to the dealer auctions and so im gonna go there and look for a cheap one, what do you guys think?

I only have the mods in my sig and I got 17 mpg on the last tank, about 230 miles, and that was 50/50 city and highway driving. Ugh... I hope I can get some better mileage somehow.

I got 281 miles out of a full tank, but my gears r 3:73's so the miles go up faster cause i havnt fixed the speedo, so im getting really bad mpg. I got a 92 Accord 5-speed, a lot better on mpg and it will b good in the winter.

stock auto mach1 15.5 city havnt driven on highway much so not sure about that

2004 GT with CAI, automatic tranny, i get about 13 mpg city, 23 highway

damn 04gt...u floor it a lot?? that seems like pretty crappy gas mileage, no offense. shouldnt matter anyways after buying a car like a mustang gt.

I run a 98GT 5spd and I get an avg of 20mpg with mixed driving. I did get 28mpg on hwy on a road trip, and I have gotten as low as 14mpg all city, hard driving. But 20 is a good median for the norm and I get about 24mpg on the hwy if I keep it below 75mph.

03 Mach 1 5-spd, averaging 16 if i romp it, around 19-20 for easy driving, somewhere near 25-27 hwy.

1996 GT, All Bolt-Ons, 5-Speed Manual, 3:27 Gears right now....

Since I don't beat on it so much, I'm looking at a consistant 20mpg in the city and a hell of a lot more on the freeway. So I'm getting around 300 miles per tank and maybe more in some cases!
