Default Stock compression ratio?

I have a 2000 Mustang GT SOHC 4.6

I was wondering what the stock compression ratio is on the motor?

I've heard 9.2 and I've heard 10.5

Thanks!

P.S. I have searched on these forums and on google and couldn't find solid facts.

Default RE: Stock compression ratio?

info i received from a guy in ford power train:
99-00 9.0 to 1
01-04 9.4 to 1
from other sources 01's might be 10.1 to 1, if they have the same heads as the bullits.
then again i could be wrong. but i looked, i might have the jpeg of the ford guys' info somewhere.

noone seems to know for sure... I've read a couple places that the P.I. heads that the 99-00 have will raise your CR

But that could be wrong still

if you take a non-pi and do a pi swap, your cr will be higher than a 99+ gt.
I was under the impression the all 99-04 4.6 motors were the same specs.

Thats wrong. The compression ratio was 9.1:1 from 99 to 01 and they upped it to 9.4:1 in 2002 to 2004 and now the 2005 models have a 9.8:1 CR.

Thats your answer.
