2v/3v block?
im sure this has been asked a million times but i will ask it one more time is there difference between 2v and 3v block. i am looking at getting the aluminum 3v block for weight reducition purposes.

Pretty sure yur Wrong.I think On the 3v block the Motor Mount location holes are different. U will need to contact MMR to get an adapter plate to make your 2v Motor Mounts work with the newer 3v block. That is about the only thing that is different besides being aluminum VS iron.

im sure there is more ribbing and extra material for strength too but as far as ur 2v stuff going on, its the same

oh i wasnt going to run the stock pi heads and stock cams on the new block i was going to throw so TF heads on it along with other goodies

im tellin u, the 2v's Motor Mounts will NOT mount up to the 3v block without adapter plates! liljojo4711 im pretty damn sure yur wrong about this bro. My buddys motor mounts did not line up because the motor mounts on the 3v are different. SO he bought an adapter plate kit from MMR.
