hose collapsing from throttle body to left side of engine
Hi, I got a 2002 mustang gt. there is a pipe coming out from the throttle body and is connected to a hose to left side of the engine. everytime i turn on the car the hose is collapsing. what could it be? the hose does feel a lil weak? do i need a new hose? please help me thank you

That actually the right side of the engine, on most conveyances left and right are always "as seen" from the driver's seat.
The hose is the evaporative emissions system (EVAP) vacuum line to the EVAP canister purge valve. It is not uncommon for this line to soften with age, and because it transports fuel vapour to the intake manifold, and collapse when manifold vacuum is high.
It needs to be replaced, make sure you get thick-walled vacuum hose, you can also use fuel injector system rated fuel hose--it's 3/8" ID.
