Default Won't react to throttle?

Started it up and noticed it was cutting out a little bit. Put it in drive and gave it gas and it wouldn't respond at all. Put it in neutral and it would rev up most of the times I tried. What's confusing me even more is that it has been running fine. I'm hoping it's just some bad gas. I went around the block and a few times it would start slowly getting power in 1st, but hardly any at all. All the gauges are normal, the linkage is fine. Generally know what is wrong if there is something but with this I am baffled. Would really appreciate some advice. Will even paypal some money if I can figure this out. Thank you for your time

Fuel filter or ur fuel pump. I'd try running some injector cleaner as well

Thanks. Yeah a put some in it right after it happened. Is it hard to change the fuel filter on the 01 GT?

When i was 16 I changed it on my 5.0 being young and dumb and got gas in my eyes and ears. That stuff really hurt. Since I have got the 01 I just paid the 20$ to get the filter put in. You don't have to lower the tank or anything like you do when putting in the pump do you?
