Default Bad quadrant?

Is there anyway to check to see if my quadrant is bad? My clutch pedal presses down a little hard and lets out hard and squeaks. I'm wondering if it's the quadrant, the clutch cable or the clutch cable firewall adjuster thing. They're all factory. Is there anyway to test these parts? I took the cable off yesterday and the cable slides pretty freely through the casing and firewall adjuster though. Help

Not much really. It squeaks, pushes in hard, lets out hard and sometimes makes the clutch grab a little fast/hard. Shifts are not as smooth. I already ordered a steeda quick release quadrant. We'll see if that works. If not, at least it's replaced with a stronger, better part. Then I'll replace the cable. It has to be one of the two. I know there's nothing else it could be. (no it's not the throw out bearing. I know this for many reasons)

I really don't know what to tell you man. I'm having issues engaging as well. I have to push the clutch pedal as deep as possible for the shifter to go into gear. I know t has to do with me adjusting my firewall adjuster cable and such but I've been "busy".

I'm having the exact same issue on my 99 v6. I used the stock adjuster quite a few times. When I shift I can hear plastic almost breaking. I'm ordering new quadrant, not a plastic pos, and new cable. 70$ off ebay and not that hard of a fix.
