My car was making 450 pulls and I was about to **** a brick when I found out. I had to buy a bigger pulley to pull those numbers down. I am still scared and I brought it down closer to 400.

What you need to take form all this is..... your car will eventually need a new motor w/ 465 rwhp. Weather its tomorrow, next month, or even next year, if you are lucky.

Are you the kind of person that like to risk it? Because at those levels it is a game.

As for the OP original question yes the tuner is correct, 400RWHP is 99% safe, 450RWHP is 50/50 and 500 is probably around 10% safe. Its the stock tight piston ring gap that usually fails first with a boosted motor. If the ends butt up they will break the ringland on the piston.
k well he still had cams. you will not make any power with the stock heads and cams at 7k rpm. as for the crank, he could have had it balanced or something?

Yep, it's not "if" but "when" it blows

Op you are most def playing with fire bro. Once I install my V1, 410 RWHP is as high as I will go and that's still pushing it. I would listen to these guys.... they helped me out alot with my setup. Good luck!

If he put in forged pistons, the cobra crank, and forged rods, would that make 465+HP "safe"?

I def get the picture....I guess now I just have to decide on what to do. I doo like the MMR600 and the MMR900 blocks on lethalperformance. Thats probably the best way to go instead of buying forged internals for my current block. Thanks for all of your help!!!! As I read all of the comments, I could feel my butt puckering with fear. You guys are awesome!

yep - mine blew at 415 rwhp - you are definitely playing with fire OP.
