electroluminescent film (tape) -- Google it...

This is just plain ol' reflective tape (a very dark brown in daylight, lights up pretty bright in other people's headlamps):

The video shows electroluminescent film--it is "powered". My image is just plain old reflective tape.

If you Google "electroluminescent film" you'll get a thousands of hits--there is no rocket science involved, just a basic understanding of Ohm's law. You cut the stuff to the size, pieces/parts, you want and wire it up to a +12V source using appropriately selected current limiting resistors to make it light up and not burn out...

Of course it has "wires", how else would the power get to it--it's is easy stuff to work with though, do some more research before you pay someone else to do it for you...

-------------------------------------
As an aside, what the heck is a "compasitor"...
