Oil in spark plug holes Help asap

Default Oil in spark plug holes Help asap

I have a 99 gt that was missing bad, i pulled the plugs on the driver side and one had alot a oil and another just a bit and other 2 were dry, anybody have any clue why or how im getting oil inthere?

Some one dumped it in there?

Seriously I have no idea how oil could get in the plug wells--it's a closed ended hole with the COP on top. Was there any oil visible on the head around the COPs?

That only works on engine where the plug tube goes through the valve cover. Doesn't work like that on the Mustang.

No plug tubes on the 2V--the plug well is just a hole bored into the head casting...

Odd...

How much oil was it, were the plugs in tightly?

the second from the back on driver side had bout inch and a half in it, plugs are all tight

JAMF, that's a lot of oil!

All i can offer is that you clean it out and keep an eye on it--a remote possibility I suppose is that the head casting is porous, or perhaps cracked, and oil from one of the various galleries in the head is somehow getting into the plug well...
