my buddy is going to do everything for 500 so thats going to allow me to do longtubes and cams. Plus i can hopefully sell my stock motor,PP TB and plenum and pullies.

Heres my calculations.


05 GT motor $1,500
Logan Motorsports kit $350
Misc & VVT lockouts $600
Tune $300
Install $500
Clutch $400
hood $500
Cams $950

itll be pretty cool cant wait to see it when its done. just remember for under 2500$ you can vortech your car and rape a stock/cammed 3v. at the end of the day, that 3v has the same RWHP limits as the 2v. same exact internals.

and make sure you use actual cam gears and not those little aluminum wedges to lock out the VVT. the wedges are crap and i forget their RWHP limit but just do it right with some adjustable gears.

do the 3v's have a 6 bolt cast or 8 bolt forged crank?

Good luck on the swap though if you do it! Sounds pretty darn cool/ unique.
