means im not gonna buy a stage 3 clutch for a t45.. rather burn up a clutch then break in input shaft... yea it may not react as fast or feel as sporty but it does not slip.. the cough was from a pervious post infering that a stock "cobra" clutch is differnt than a stock 02+ gt... many people are over cluched for the weak trans

The 3650 is not a "weak" transmission by any definition, it can easily handle 150 to 200% of its 360lbft rating--here is a great analysis of the 3650.

It does start to break when pushed to more than 200% of its rating--however I fail to understand how that makes it "weak"--I bet you would have problems if pushed to 200%+ of your rated capacity...

haha except for the ****ty syncros...(been there) but going forward the guy wants to know what best for a bolt on gt.. well a stock clutch is perfect. have 2-3 bills to add gears.. and if you look at the 03 cobra guys they run stcok clutches even further then i do... just giving the person the best choice. other wise i would lead him to an unneeded 600hp+ clutch for a guy with bolt ons like you...
