Default Which colour plated rotor to go with black bullit rims.

hey guys i got a 2002 mineral grey gt and im gonna upgrade the brakes, i have everything set except for the colour plating of my rotors.

what do you guys think would look better silver? or that gold tint look. to give you a perspective i have black 17" bullits, and red cobra calipers. Do you think gold rotors would look good or just plain tacky.\\

thanks guys i just cant decide.

Don't go with the gold plateing, I think that would look stupid, kinda like anyone that has a whole mouth of gold teeth, just does not look right

Easiest, most logical color is to match the body color of your Mustang. Many Ford Racing special calipers are painted red which would definitely stand out much more. There are a whole long list of available caliper paint colors out there. First satisfy youself. Here is one company that specializes in these sort of things:

Remember, satisfy yourself. Color, design, etc. is all subjective. What one loves, the other hates. Be your own man.

he is talking about coated rotors, not calipers that are painted. i dont like gold plated rotors, zinc plated looks much better, especially for black wheels
