Brakes squeaking

Brakes squeaking
So about 3 months ago or so, I installed all new rotors and Hawk HPS pads along with MM braided lines up front. Everything has been fine until recently. My brakes have started to squeal when I apply them. I checked if the low pad indicator strips are contacting the rotors, they aren't. I also have plenty of pad left obviously. What do you guys think it could be? The brakes stop just fine otherwise and I don't notice any unusual vibrations.
The best way to describe the sound is it sounds like a solid high-pitched metal ringing noise.
Could I have possibly glazed the pads? Should I do a couple of really hard stops to see if my slotted rotors can clean them up a bit?
Thanks,
Brandon

Despite that everyone--shop manuals, instructions that come with pads, and conventional wisdom--say it isn't needed, I always use a brake quieting adhesive, like Permatex Brake Quiet (the most commonly FLAPS available product) and have only rarely (rarely being 4 or 5 times in 20 years) had any noise issues "down the road" (pun intended).
To "retro-fit", clean the piton surfaces and pads with brake cleaner, then squirt the pad backs with the Brake Quiet and put it all back together...
