Default underdrive pulleys. need a tune???

Ordered steeda underdrive pulleys, sct programmer, tb and plenum. I called the BAMA tuning guys about it. They told there was no need to incorporate the pulleys into the tune.

I was under the impression that you had to get it tuned when changing pulleys?

Just wanted to double check. And yeah I'm a noob just getting the bug so take it easy on me.

Thanks

underdrive pulleys do not change ANYTHING about the air fuel ratio, timing, extra intake, extra exhaust, nothing. the only thing it does is slow your accessories down so you get less parasitic belt loss. so no, you do not need a tune.

the only time you need to get a tune when changing pulleys is when you have a supercharger and your changing pulleys on that.
