Default What kinda perfomance we lookin' @ here?

This applies to the 96-98 GTs. What performance are we lookin at here roughly/typically? The most important ones to me are 0-60, 1/4 and hp...especially the 0-60. I'm a 60mph man.

0-60?
1/8?
1/4?
60'?
hp?
rwhp?

4.10 gears
Transgo shift kit
March Ram Air System (says it adds 15 hp)
Jeg's High Flow Balance H-Pipe
March Performance Pulleys

Again I apologize if this has been asked already for I don't have the car yet (def 96-98 for personal reasons) but i'm trying to get an idea how much to save so I can get the car....mess around a bit...and then hook it up with this stuff and race a few ppl that need a beating. Thanks in advance.

and i'm thinking a stall but what brand?

Man thats alot of questions! j/k

6 sec
high 9's
High 14 maybe 15
Depends on the driver, tires, track, weather, etc. Lets be nice and say 2.2
235 hp (ive also heard 225, but not sure)
barely over 200rwhp

There u go, thats not from a magazine, thats from watching first hand at the track. Save up some more benjamins and get a 99+
Heres for the 99-04
5.5
mid 9's
low 14
Again who knows?
260hp
Generally around 225-230.

It might be worth ur while to save a bit, but if u like that body style, hey u can make it fast!

well hes allready got the sn95 so why not get the PI heads/intake? thats the only thing that 94-98 are lacing compared to the 99^. When i get money im gonna do it and i will be able to hang with newer GTs.

I somehow got the idea in my head that he was wanting general info about the car. I thought from his screen name he had a 99 gt. Woops. Those are all stock times by the way. Ur car will be alil better. The PI swap is a great idea.

I seriously doubt that the March ram air kit will net 15 HP. It uses the stock intake set up mostly with a new hole for the 'ram' air. I don't think you'll get any gains. Get a real CAI and some pullies (not piggyback style). That can get you 10 or so hp.

SAE times would be nice.

I don't know where people are running into the 15's with a 96-98GT.... My car, stock, ran a 15.00 with a fuel delivery problem (due to MAF being shot) and 2 bad plug wires... and it was an auto...and I was hot lapping, in July.

So if you're 15's+ get your shiz checked out.

Just throw in a pair of 4.30's and an exhaust system and you'll be beating 99+ gt's. Ask Nanaki

Oh no, I know that the car stock is:

0-60 = 6.0 sec
225hp
1/4 = 14.2-15.2 (roughly??)
and so on.

Basically i'm hopin for high 13s low 14s with those mods, and 0-60 in 5.6 or less @ about 240hp (net). Ultimatly I want to hit 5.2-5.5 0-60 times with about 270hp with a few more mods on top of that...shortly after. And I want a 96, 97, or 98 because I like the body style better AND you see a lot of 99+ stangs around. I also want it for this reason. Not many around. And no I don't have one yet...getting one though so i'm planning ahead to get an idea.

you can get the same body with a 5.0, which is better than a nonpi 4.6
