Default Help Ignition Coil

I have a 99 Gt. So i had a coil go bad. It happens. I changed coil. Well the new coil lasted well about 2 minutes. So i followed the Ford pinout. Determined I had a bad ECM. Got New ECM installed. Still blowing the #5 Coil. Where should i go next. I am thinking the engine harness? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you pull the plug to see what it looks like?

Primary side problems that can kill a COP are pretty rare, did the replacement COP include a new boot and "spring"--if not it could be that the boot has developed a HV breakthrough-- that will kill a COP pretty quickly.

have you considered a bad injector? I just finihed woking on a 4.6 that was throwing a misfire on cyl #8. I assumed bad coil so put one from a different cyl on #8 and poblem still there. Had them take it to stealership so they could diognose it better ad turns out the injector was not even working. They wanted $500 to fix it. I did it for $42 and took me 30 min.
