I agree, but they're so damn expensive! I just saw a silver one on ebay today. It was at 800 with no bids, 1000 buy it now, and 200 for shipping, and you couldnt pick it up!
Thats ridiculous for a hood!

U gotta love the cowl hood. Theres a 94 cobra in town with a 2 in. That thing is sweet! Slow but sweet.LOL

He must not be able to drive because Ive seen several stock 94/95's with just a catback and some nice tires run as low as 13.7. 99saleen can back that up because hes seen the same thing done at his track. If you come by Bowling Green for the NMRA World Finals, lemme know and you can see a "slow" 5.0 Cobra.
Back to the topic, I'd definatly get the Cowl hood. You gotta have that lift. And the water wont be a problem, I've had a Cowl hood on just about ever vehicle Ive owned including a 1996 GT with a Functional 4" Cobra RR hood. Water is gonna get everywhere reguarless if you have 2 holes cut out in the rear rise of a hood or not. If you go with the Cowl make sure you get the mesh screens installed on the rear cutouts to keep trash from going where it shouldnt. Thats what I did and never had a bit of trouble. Looked perfect.
EDIT: Nevermind, just realized you bought the R hood. Well, enjoy it!
