yes, the 4v motor has much better potential as far as boltons go than the 2v's do.

if cobras are going for 5 grand with 50,000 miles, i'm making a trip to where you live.

Well I am asking for people's opinion. I like the looks equally, with the new edge being a little nicer but the cobra having the wow factor. I can stroke the 4.6 but honestly I was going to just go with a turbo setup. It will accept higher hp applications right?

Higher HP applications are all going to depend on what you do with the internals. And that being the case. Both motors can be built to take whatever you want to get out of them. If you're keeping the rotating assemblies stock, i think you're looking at a 450 bhp cap either way. If I remember correctly, someone will chime in if I'm totally wrong.

The Cobras will come with the lightest, strongest production block ford has ever used.
(Teksid) these blocks have seen over 1000hp. The crank in the cobra is forged and is also good for over 1k hp, the GTs have a cast crank and iron block, which are still good for decent power levels(600+ish IIRC) so nothing really hurt there. The stock 4v flows much better for boost, the "b" heads do really good with boost. The pistons and rods are nearly identical, in fact they might be.

The SN95 Cobras do have that mean yet sleeky sexy look down better than the Edges and even the S197's in my opinion. But the sometimes refered to as SN10's have them beat out now.
