Default Steeda UDP Problem????

Installed my Steeda UDP's today. Weird issue, my alternator pulley was not right. it didn't have the right size spacer in the back. when tightened all the way, the alternator would NOT turn. Sitting the Pulleys next to each other shows quite a bit of difference. i had to make two spacers out of washers. works great now. wonder if Steeda had a mishap? Anyone else have this issue?

it seems that i accidently got a cobra pulley but with the spacers the steeda tech said it should be fine as long as the belt lines up. it does so i guess ill be ok.
