b/c it raises your compression to 10.5:1 which means you can run less timing and less boost before detonation, which means less power.

If you want to run a blower, get your non-pi heads ported and polished, or get those D46 heads.

ok if the pi heads arent as good for superchargers then what do you do if you want to throw a supercharger on a 99-04?

99-04 gt's already have the pi's in them but they also dont have the 10.5:1 ratio. They changed the pistons as well in 99 in order to keep the compression ratio down around 9:1 or so.

how about different pistons. thatll lower your compression ratio
