aftermarket exhaust systems. HELP!!!
I have a 2000 GT and for my birthday i want to put an exhaust system on my car. i am a recent mustang owner so i dont know much about them. anyone have any advise for me? i am looking to spend about $300. i want loud sound and would like to not mess with the converter foward. i know it is a list but i am willing to consider anything. any tips would be greatly apperciated.

Its pretty much the loudest exhaust out right now
More importantly...it has fantastic build quality, flow rate, and sounds absolutely insane. It's also modular, setting you up for future expansion. Should the need for speed get worse, it leaves the option open for longtube headers and midpipe.

i like the flowmaster catback systems personally, but i am kinda biased considering i have flowmasters, in my opinion its the perfect balance of rumble without getting too extreme, if you want to hear other exhaust setups go to http://www.mustangexhaust.com/4.6sounds.htm they have lots of sound clips of different exhaust setups

i cant believe all the exhaust clips on that mustangexhaust site sound like crap.. the only one i found that sounded good was the 2 chamber flows -not the catback- with the stock h pipe, all the rest with the stock h pipe made me sick to my stomach... [&:][:'(]

Flowmasters drone...
Magnaflows are nice, but quiet.
SLP's are insane nice. And you can get them cheaper than $450 on www.LMperformance.com

I got LM2's from www.rpmoutlet.com , great price, awesome customer service, and quick shipping. SLP makes a great product, perfect fit, and sweet sound. Def won't be disappointed w/ SLP

Try Spintech. I don't know if it's sold everywhere. It's big in Cali. I had my mech put those on and the flowmasters and the Spintechs sounded 10x better. Plus I think they were cheaper or close to the same price.
