Ticking Noise

I have the ticking too. I did on the other hand use new gaskets. I had it before the longtube install (when I just had a x-pipe and catback) and after the longtubes were installed. I am starting to think it is something else??? Never figured it out; just have dealt with it. It sux.

Exhaust leaks at their source are supersonic and rich in audible harmonics, combine that with the numerous size and shape orifices through which they can escape and they are one of the most difficult sounds to localise, and a sound that can mimic nearly any other "ticking" type noise an engine might make.

That makes them particularly annoying as you first have to figure out what the heck is ticking, and for the inexperienced ear the exhaust is not generally the place one would "look"...

yeah i took my car by a reputable shop today just to have them listen and they said they agree with me. they think its an exhaust leak as well.
